Laoise lecturers at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama

in Dublin. Her responsibilities include teaching recorder from

beginner level through to post graduate students.

She runs consort class for junior music students,

ensemble classes in early music, lectures to traditional

Irish music students and oversees projects involving

several departments. Laoise also gives consultation lessons

to other instrumentalists, assists pedagogy students with

observation and runs courses in teaching recorder in the

classrom.

Outside DIT, Laoise is often invited to give master classes

at other institutes and more recently has been asked to deliver

CPD courses and workshops at Music Generation centres.

Laoise, with her colleagues in The Gregory Walkers,

has devised and delivered family performances based around

storytelling for the Kilkenny Arts Festival, Ardee Baroque Festival,

Galway Early Music Festival, MusicTown, Dublin Festival,

Music Generation and East Cork Early Music.
